iSTEM Building
Marietta, Georgia
Onsite provided full civil engineering services for the KSU Marietta's new 100,000-sf iSTEM Building, designed by Collins Cooper Carusi architects. The site design included grading, drainage, utility coordination, and stormwater management to support the facility’s advanced instructional and research functions. Close coordination with the campus infrastructure ensured seamless integration with existing systems while accommodating future expansion of classroom and laboratory space. Carroll Daniel is serving as the Construction Manager and the project is slated to open January 2026. ​​​​​​

Georgia Northwestern Technical College Whitfield Murray Classroom Building
Dalton, Georgia
The 76,000-sf classroom addition at Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Whitfield Murray Campus was designed by HOK and constructed by Balfour Beatty. The new building expands facilities for vocational programs in industrial systems, electronics, and nursing. GNTC's existing building shares a campus with the Northwest Georgia College and Career Academy. HOK's building design increased visibility of GNTC's programs and created an exciting new campus. The new building is oriented around a new green space and campus entry drive to the North Bypass (US Hwy 41) that welcomes students and community visitors. Thoughtful location of internal site driveways integrated the new building with the existing campus, while a 300 space parking lot was tucked beside and behind the new building to accentuate the green space as the focal point upon entering the campus. This new Whitfield Murray Classroom Building helped solidify the presence of GNTC in the area and will become the flagship for future growth.

Summit Housing Phase I
Kennesaw, Georgia
The Summit residence hall, designed by Collins Cooper Carusi to house 520 first-year students, was built on a steep site across from the Bailey Athletic Complex. OnSite shaped the land and organized the utilities and drainage to work with the building’s split-level design, while improving pedestrian pathways to keep the campus connected and accessible.​​

Academic Learning Center

​​The 147,000-sf Academic Learning Center at Kennesaw State University was constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie on a former parking lot in the heart of the Kennesaw campus. HOK's design optimized space utilization while providing a central hub for academic and student support services. OnSite planned the site's grading, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure to accommodate the facility's five-story structure.

Student Housing
Savannah, Georgia
This project included the removal, replacement, and renovation of several buildings on the historic circle of campus. Peacock Hall was demolished, Adams and Morgan Halls were renovated, and three new buildings were constructed. In total, 682 new beds were delivered with the entire project. HKS served as the architect and DPR was the general contractor. ​​​

Book Store
Carrollton, Georgia
Praxis3's design of a new 23,000 sf bookstore was completed in 2010 by RK Redding. The project featured LEED-inspired design elements like light shelves for natural illumination, a cistern-based rainwater collection system, and careful preservation of mature oak trees on a compact site. These infrastructure features improved environmental performance and enhanced the building’s integration with campus surroundings on this important location within the UWG campus.

Austin Residence Student Housing
Kennesaw, Georgia
The Austin Residence Complex comprises 11 buildings designed by HKS. The project provides premium apartment-style accommodations for upperclassmen. OnSite Civil Group developed comprehensive site plans, addressing grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure to support the complex's layout and ensure efficient stormwater management. This development served as an anchor point for future development on the south side of campus.

Roy Richard Sr Hall Business Building
Carrollton, Georgia
Located adjacent to the Carrollton Greenbelt, the 68,000-sf Roy Richards Sr. Hall required thoughtful site engineering to accommodate grading challenges and coordinate utilities. OnSite worked closely with architect Collins Cooper Carusi to create a sustainable and accessible design that complements the natural surroundings.

Southern Crescent Technical College
Industrial & Technology Building
McDonough, Georgia
OnSite teamed with Praxi3 and JMA to deliver the design of a 80,000-sf educational facility focused on automotive and industrial classrooms. The new building and 200 space parking lot significantly expanded the the McDonough Campus. This addition strengthens the college’s capacity to provide hands-on technical training in a growing region.​​​​​​​​​​

East Village
Carrollton, Georgia
Completed in 2013, the East Village consists of Oaks Housing, East Commons Dining Hall, and the renovated Bowdon Hall. This project rejuvenated the southeast part of campus by providing a hub for student life in the form of housing and dining. Boykin Hall, Downs Hall, and the Art Annex were razed to make way for the new East Village project. HKS designed the housing, which yields 460 new beds and 290 renovated beds. Collins Cooper Carusi designed the 320-seat 21,000-sf dining hall and residence life office. The buildings are arranged along a new ADA accessible pedestrian walkway and green space with an ampitheater that unite the site with the rest of campus. The pedestrian walkways were designed to double as fire access into the quad when needed. Major campus utility infrastructure upgrades to the sanitary sewer and water distribution systems were required for this project. ​

Center Pointe Student Housing
Carrollton, Georgia
Center Pointe offers 600 suite style beds and parking for students, designed to meet growing demand for on campus student housing. OnSite developed the site plans, managing grading, drainage, and utility layouts to support HKS's new building design while working within tight 1.75 acre site. This project is immediately adjacent to the University Suites complex and access for fire and campus service was vital in the success of this project.

English Building Expansion

The 13,000-sf English Building Expansion adds important classroom and office space to support KSU’s growing academic programs. The project enhances the campus environment by adding a plaza on the east side of the building for students to gather and study.​​​​​​ CDH's design incorporates design features of both the existing and adjacent buildings to blend the new building into campus. ​​​​

Student Recreation & Activity Center
Kennesaw, Georgia
OnSite originally worked with Hughes Group on bridging documents and then partnered with the Design/Build of Cooper Carry and DPR to deliver full construction documents. The existing Student Recreation & Activity Center was expanded from 87,000-sf to 176,000-sf with amenities such as an 8-lane indoor lap pool, 2-story climbing wall, bicycle rental and repair shop, and four court gym with upper level walking/jogging track. Outdoor amenities include a leisure pool, basketball court, sand volleyball courts, and 8 tennis courts for the school's NCAA teams. This project greatly enhances recreational facilities for students and athletes on campus.

Parking Lot Expansions

This project on KSU’s Marietta campus cleared two old surface lots and a detention pond to make way for a new four-acre parking area south of the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. The scope included adding 300 spaces and installing an underground stormwater detention system beneath the lot to replace the existing pond. New asphalt paving, lighting, and an irrigation network were also installed to support campus functionality and sustainability.​​​​​​​​​​​​
